BP IIUM GEMILANG is a mentoring program that supports a mentoring based following on the Islamic model. This project appoints a number of mentors to guide mentees under their guidance.

As a model, the mentors have to be honest in their relationship with their charges. On the other way, mentees must also obey and respect their mentors to create a good relationship.

Each mentor will guide 2 mentees for about 2 or 3 years. Usually, relationship between mentors and mentees will last forever although the mentees are no longer in this project.

After been chosen as a new mentor in BP IIUM GEMILANG, all mentors have to sign for MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) as the foundation to accept the task as a mentor to the selected mentees.

Objective

  • To build high self-esteem in under-graduate’s mind-setting in order to bring them to be more alert and responsible towards our society.
  • To help in producing a group of students who have firm target and can improve themselves and their achievement in academic.
  • To decrease social problems among teenagers.
